According to recent report, WWE is planning to use music icon Travis Scott at the upcoming Money in the Bank premium live event. But, it might not be just be to make an appearance. Sources suggest he’s been training for a match and he may step in the ring at the show.
Travis Scott To Appear At Money In The Bank?
As per WrestleVotes, “Amid speculation, we’re told WWE has plans for Travis Scott to appear at the Money in the Bank PLE on June 7th. Sources indicate this has been in the works since before WrestleMania.”
This speculation shouldn’t surprise anyone given that Scott is a huge wrestling fan and has appeared for WWE in the past. He most recently showed up to help John Cena win the WWE Championship, causing a distraction in Cena’s win over Cody Rhodes.
As of now, nothing is confirmed regarding the match part of the event. Scott may not wrestle, but he is set to appear, and that appearance could lead to WWE setting the stage for a future match. Triple H has said in previous press conferences that Scott loves this and wants to get in there and wrestle. Fans may not be as keen on the idea, but there is no denying that Scott is a massive star with crossover appeal.

Would Scott Team With John Cena?
Recent storylines suggest Cena and Scott are on the same page and the most logical creative direction would be to put Scott in a tag team match with Cena as his partner. The plus side of this is hiding any lack of experience Scott has. The downside is that Cena only has so many matches left as part of his retirement tour and many members of the WWE Universe will be frustrated to hear that Scott will get a chance to wrestle with Cena when there are far more deserving stars who could be a Cena opponent.
Beyond that, WWE hasn’t taken the time to explain Cena and Scott’s partnership, so fans are already frustrated that these two don’t make sense as a team. Perhaps R-Truth is on the other side of the ring, following his run-in with Cena.
