The Judgment Day has been one of WWE’s top factions since it was formed in 2022. Since then, the group has gone from strength to strength. Given that fans were completely uninterested in The Judgment Day when it was first created by Edge, the fact that they’re now at the point they are in 2025 is a testament to everyone who has been involved in the group.

WWE’s Judgment Day Has Accomplished Exactly What Its Founder Intended
WWE’s Judgment Day has gone through several iterations, but it has still managed to accomplish exactly what its founder originally intended.
Traditionally, Judgment Day has been a heel faction, and that is the case today. WWE positions them as people that fans need to hate, but it feels like a change is coming. Right now is the ideal time for them to turn babyface to make the most of the ongoing situation that has presented itself to Triple H and his creative team.

The Judgment Day are brilliant heels who can gain massive levels of heat, with the likes of Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan having been some of WWE’s best heels in modern times. However, in recent months, the reactions have started to change naturally, without anyone in the group doing much to make it happen.
WrestleMania 41 was the first time it was very noticeable, as the audience went wild for Mysterio to win the Intercontinental title. It felt like the right time to lean into him as a babyface, yet WWE held off. However, when Finn Balor and JD McDonagh recently won the World Tag Team titles on WWE Raw, they were given the same treatment.
Fans are actively wanting to cheer The Judgment Day, but they’re being denied the opportunity because WWE is continuing to book them as heels. It will eventually cause problems as fans will naturally end up frustrated with the storyline dynamics, and that’s why Triple H must consider altering things to go along with the audience, rather than fighting against them.
A Babyface Turn Would Keep The Faction Fresh Moving Forward
WWE Already Has Several Top Heel Groups
- WWE would benefit from having a babyface faction.
- They could feud against Seth Rollins’ group.
- WWE would sell even more merchandise.
The Judgment Day has been around for three years now, and to WWE’s credit, the company has kept them fresh by adding different members and focusing on various storylines without dragging things on for too long. However, they have predominantly been a heel group throughout that period, even though there have been a few instances where they’ve been able to play to the fans.

How Liv Morgan Has Become WWE’s Most Improved Wrestler Of The Decade
From world title reigns, to her current run as a tag team champion, Liv Morgan is now one of WWE’s biggest stars.
That is why now feels like the right time to turn them babyface as it would totally shake things up for The Judgment Day. The group is full of wrestlers that are capable of pulling that off and have experience in that, and it would give them all something fresh to do every week, extending the life of the faction in the process.
WWE already has a lot of heel groups with The Bloodline and Seth Rollins’ new faction, therefore giving fans something to actively cheer would be welcomed. Plus, it would set up possible storylines for them moving forward where they could compete against a different set of wrestlers than they have been able to previously.
WWE Could Set Up A Storyline For The Future
Liv Morgan’s Return Would Be More Impactful This Way
- Liv Morgan would be able to be either a babyface or a heel when she returns.
- Morgan is currently sidelined with a shoulder injury.
- WWE would have a big storyline to tell with her return.
In addition to benefiting The Judgment Day right now, WWE would also be able to use the babyface turn to massively impact Liv Morgan’s character. She is out of action with a shoulder injury, and that would allow WWE two big options when it comes to her eventual return.
Morgan has the possibility to hate The Judgment Day being babyfaces, leading to her turning on the group, likely feuding with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. Or, WWE could switch things up for Morgan by having her be the big singles babyface, and that’s something that audiences will be intrigued by.

It can be difficult to turn an entire faction babyface as there are a lot of moving parts involved, which is why now is the ideal time. WWE is getting the fan reactions without having committed to a full babyface turn, and that’s half of the battle done. Triple H just needs that one significant storyline to affirm it.
