South Africa and Australia are battling it out in the World Test Championship (WTC) final at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London since June 11.
Australia took a 281-run lead, leaving South Africa to get a daunting 282, which will be the joint second-highest run-chase by a Test team at the venue if the Proteas manage to get over the line.
In tough batting conditions, it will be interesting to see how South Africa goes about chasing the total.
While the highest successful run-chase at the iconic Lord’s is an impressive 342 by West Indies against England in 1984, a target in excess of 200 has only been overhauled four times at the venue in Tests.
