WWE has now confirmed that it will be reviving ECW’s Wrestlepalooza next month, holding the PLE on September 20, the same night as AEW All Out. That only gives WWE a month to sell tickets for the show, and the company is clearly pretty confident fans will want to attend as if you want to be in the first three rows at Wrestlepalooza, you’re going to need to part with almost $6,000 for a single ticket.
WWE Wrestlepalooza Tickets Cost Up To $6,000
Wrestlepalooza tickets are available on Ticketmaster right now, and if you scroll down to the most expensive tickets, which are naturally the ones in the first few rows right next to the ring, you’ll find they cost $5,988.35 each. That’s before taxes and the random fees Ticketmaster adds as you get closer and closer to its checkout, meaning it will almost certainly total more than $6,000 by the time it comes to parting with your hard-earned cash.
Those prices are specifically for seats in the F5 section, which will be the section we’re all looking at when the hardcam is trained on the ring during Wrestlepalooza. If you’re trying to save a couple of thousand dollars, but still want to attend, seats next to the entrance way cost between $3,000 and $4,000. If you want to save even more money, you can drop back a few rows and pay $2,404 to be there live.
It’s Bad News For Those Saving Up For WrestleMania Too
If you don’t care about where you’re sat and just want to be there, well, even that’s going to cost you. The cheapest Wrestlepalooza tickets currently available are $130.15. That might not sound like much, especially after breaking down how much it’ll cost to sit near the front, but that’s a single ticket for a seat that Ticketmaster describes as having a “limited view”. What exactly that means likely won’t become clear until you get there on September 20, so yeah, good luck with that if you go for it.
If you’re reading all this thinking you’ll sit this one out and save your money for WrestleMania 42, I’ve got bad news on that front, too. WWE released the first details about next year’s WrestleMania packages this week, giving fans the chance to pre-register for ringside seats. That has led to prices leaking online, revealing that a ringside seat for both nights as part of one of WWE’s packages will cost $70,000 each. Second and third row packages cost between $35,000 and $50,000, and no, I’ve not put the commas in the wrong place.
This isn’t new, as WWE ticket prices have been on the rise for a while, seemingly since TKO took control of the company. WrestleMania 41’s ticket prices were met with disbelief, but since the show still sold well, WrestleMania 42’s packages will cost even more. Even Randy Orton is against the soaring cost of tickets. A fan shot video of The Viper went viral earlier this year, as he labeled how much fans paid for their tickets “embarrassing”.
