Afterwards, she aligned herself with Damage CTRL and resumed teaming with Asuka, reforming the Kabuki Warriors. Sane spent the rest of 2024 mostly wrestling in multi-woman matches. But, she was missing for a while due to an injury that she sustained. However, she has since returned to action.

On the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE continued to build up anticipation for Money in the Bank this year. That included two triple-threat qualifying matches for the women’s ladder match at the PLE. One match took place between Becky Lynch, Natalya, and Roxanne Perez (who won the match). The other took place between Zoey Stark, Rhea Ripley, and a returning Kairi Sane. Sane’s return to WWE was announced earlier in the day. It was the first time that she competed in a WWE ring in months. While she did not win, it was a great showing for her.

On the December 2nd, 2024 episode of Raw, the team of IYO SKY and Kairi Sane came up short against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. About a month after the bout, Sane took to Instagram to share an interesting photo. In the picture, Sane was in the hospital, with her right arm clearly in a cast.
There are few details about the nature of Sane’s injury, but it is likely a serious one because of her caption which states, “I’ll get an arm of iron soon.” That could just be a turn of phase, but it is also possible that Sane’s injury requires surgery. If the latter is true, it would considerably extend the timetable for her WWE return. That’s a loss for the women’s division, as Sane is a great performer and adds depth to the roster. But taking a look at the bigger picture, a few months off programming could turn out to be the best thing for Kairi Sane.

However, it was not a match that she was victorious in. Ripley was able to pull out the win and pinned Sane to qualify for Money in the Bank. However, it was still great to see Sane back and competing in a WWE ring for the first time in months.
