Former English pacer Stuart Broad will act as consultant for South Africa for its World Test Championship (WTC) Final against reigning champion Australia, starting on June 11.
This will be Broad’s first coaching stint, following his retirement in 2023. The 38-year-old will attend Proteas training on June 9 at Lord’s as they look to dethrone Australia.

Broad has taken 153 Test wickets against Australia, the most by any player in red-ball history. The fast bowler also boasts a strong record at Lord’s, taking 113 wickets in 28 Test matches.
The South African squad has assembled in the UK and will face Zimbabwe in Sussex from Tuesday as part of its buildup for the final.
