Siraj, Prasidh attain career-best ICC Test rankings after India-England series

India pacers Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna have achieved career-best positions in the ICC Men’s Test Bowler Rankings following their standout performances in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy series.

Siraj climbed 12 spots to 15th after finishing as the series’ leading wicket-taker with 23 scalps. Prasidh jumped 25 places to 59th, boosted by his eight-wicket haul in the series-deciding Test, which India won by six runs against England.

India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, who featured in three Tests as part of his workload management, continues to top the rankings with 889 points.

Joe Root and Harry Brook, the other centurions in the match, continue to occupy the first and second positions, respectively, in the ICC Men’s Test Batter Rankings.

Rishabh Pant remains the only other Indian batter in the top 10, though he slipped one spot to eighth after missing the fifth Test due to a foot injury.
