The qualifying matches for the 2025 women’s Money in the Bank ladder match have officially been completed, and the six-woman field for the WWE’s namesake premium live event is set. When WWE heads to the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, the following names will be vying for their shot at winning the infamous briefcase, guaranteeing a shot at a world title.

Why Fans Should Expect Another WWE To AEW Wrestler Exodus

A few years ago, with fans upset about WWE’s creative direction, many wrestlers started leaving for AEW. Is it about to happen again?

However, the competitors in the match vary in terms of chances of winning, and we will assess how likely each one of them is to walk out with the Money in the Bank contract. From no chance to the favorite, we will rank their chances.

Alexa Bliss

Bliss Is Least Likely To Win Money In The Bank

  • Bliss has struggled for TV time ever since returning in 2025.
  • There is no evidence that Triple H sees her as a star.
  • Bliss is a former Money in the Bank winner.

Even prior to her lengthy WWE absence, Alexa Bliss wasn’t doing all too much under Triple H. Ever since returning at the Royal Rumble this year, things have been very slow for the former multi-time world champion. She may now be finally getting some TV time, but she has yet to build up much momentum, and nothing suggests that she is in line for a big singles push any time soon.

Bliss’ time at the top came between 2016 and 2020, where she was a leading force as a world champion in the division, but it feels like any chances of her returning to that level are slim. Out of all the field, Bliss seems the least likely to win the Money in the Bank ladder match, especially since she’s also a former winner.

Stephanie Vaquer

It Is Too Soon For The Former NXT Women’s Champion

  • Stephanie Vaquer is the newest member of the RAW roster.
  • She won’t win the briefcase a week after her call-up from NXT.
  • WWE needs to spend longer building her up on the main roster.

Although the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match has a few newer names to the WWE main roster, Stephanie Vaquer has only been officially called up for a week (following her shocking loss of the NXT Women’s Title), meaning that it would be a big surprise to see WWE push her to the moon immediately. Vaquer is immensely talented and shone in NXT, but her character doesn’t suit having a Money in the Bank briefcase to give her a shortcut to a world title.

Roman Reigns Is Still A Terrible WWE Babyface (& I’m Tired Of Pretending He’s Not)

Roman Reigns was an absolutely awful good guy as the Big Dog, but he isn’t much better today as the Tribal Chief.

It is way more likely that Vaquer wins the briefcase and goes on a chase to the gold at some point down the line, rather than emerging victorious here.

4

Rhea Ripley

Ripley Doesn’t Need The Money In The Bank Briefcase

  • Ripley is someone who can get a title shot without a cash in.
  • Taking a cheap way to the title doesn’t fit her persona.
  • WWE may want to hand her another big achievement.

The only reason that Rhea Ripley would be given the Money in the Bank contract is to tick off another achievement – following up on world titles, a Royal Rumble, and the tag titles. However, Ripley is already a made name on the WWE roster, so giving her the briefcase would feel like a backwards booking call, and WWE may try to avoid the backlash a Ripley win could garner.

Ripley is an ass-kicking babyface, so a Money in the Bank contract would be odd for her character.

3

Giulia

WWE Sees Giulia As A Future Star

  • Giulia has been on the main roster for a couple of months.
  • WWE signed her with the idea of her being a big star.
  • It could still be too soon for Giulia to hold the briefcase.

Giulia arrived to the WWE main roster as a heel, fitting the bill for someone who would do well with the Money in the Bank briefcase. It may be too soon for Giulia, much like with Vaquer, and WWE may yet spend some time building her up before pulling the trigger.

When WWE signed Giulia, it was said that the promotion was hoping for her to be the next big international star, and with WWE spending much more time abroad nowadays, it may be Giulia’s time to get a massive breakout win. There are still some other names more likely than her though.

2

Roxanne Perez

Perez Has A Character That Fits The Briefcase

  • She has been impressing on the main roster in 2025.
  • Perez has recently started a storyline with Dominik Mysterio.
  • Her cowardly heel character is perfect for the briefcase.

It has been an interesting year for Roxanne Perez – she had huge performances in the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber, but fell out of favor around WrestleMania season. However, she is now a fully-fledged main roster member and has shown great charisma as a heel – particularly in her attempts to weasel her way into the Judgment Day and in favor of Dominik Mysterio.

I Can’t Stand How WWE Has Wasted Aleister Black’s Comeback

Aleister Black has been back on SmackDown for over a month, but WWE is already repeating mistakes made with him in the past.

Her current gimmick is one most perfectly suited for the Money in the Bank briefcase, and her natural talent could well lead WWE to pushing her to the moon in 2025. However, she cannot be considered the ultimate favorite due to WWE’s inconsistency with her push this year.

1

Naomi

Naomi Is The Favorite For Money In The Bank

Naomi-on-SmackDown

  • She has been a top heel on SmackDown.
  • She has always been a contender for Money in the Bank.
  • Naomi is likely in line for a world title push.

Any time Naomi is in Money in the Bank, she is in conversation as a potential winner. There is a different energy heading into the 2025 event though, as Naomi is riding a wave of momentum after a heel turn and character refresh, in which she has been killing it.

Naomi has been on the precipice of the world title picture over the last year, so it feels like just a matter of time before she gets her hands on a WWE world title for the first time in years. She is undoubtedly the favorite.
