Match Card, Start Time, And How To Watch

The next stop on WWE‘s PLE calendar is a show that’s been lying dormant ever since ECW went out of business almost 25 years ago, Wrestlepalooza. Almost out of nowhere, WWE has decided to revive the long-dormant PPV and turn it into a PLE for its own use. It’s looking like a pretty stacked show too, and we’ve got everything you need to know about it, from the announced card to where you’ll need to tune in to see Wrestlepalooza live, below.

When Is WWE Wrestlepalooza?

Even though WWE didn’t leave much notice between announcing Wrestlepalooza and the event taking place, we probably should have expected something was coming. There was a big old gap on the WWE PLE calendar after Clash in Paris, and that gap has now been filled by Wrestlepalooza. The PLE will air live at 7 pm EST on Saturday, September 20, 2025. If that date sounds familiar, it’s because it’s the same day that AEW is running All Out.

How Can I Watch WWE Wrestlepalooza?

Figuring out where you need to tune in to watch WWE programming in 2025 has been a little confusing, especially for fans in the US. I hate to break it to you, but things are being switched up again for Wrestlepalooza. The ESPN deal WWE announced a short while ago, which was presumed to start in 2026, actually begins with Wrestlepalooza. If you want to watch it live, or any other non-NXT PLEs moving forward in the US, you’ll need access to ESPN. Those outside of the US will be able to watch Wrestlepalooza live and on demand on Netflix.

Where Is WWE Wrestlepalooza Taking Place?

It would have been rather fitting for the first Wrestlepalooza since ECW closed its doors to take place in somewhere like Philadelphia. Unfortunately, those stars have not aligned. The first-ever WWE-branded Wrestlepalooza will take place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. If you want to attend live, tickets are still available from Ticketmaster, starting at $130.

Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer For The Women’s World Championship

Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer were both supposed to get shots at Naomi and the Women’s World Title. However, when Naomi announced she was pregnant and vacated the title, for some reason, both of those title shots were scrapped. It felt like it would have made sense for WWE to have Sky and Vaquer battle for the vacant title at Clash in Paris, but that didn’t happen.

That same match has been saved for Wrestlepalooza instead, announced 24 hours after Clash in Paris. Perhaps WWE needed more matches for the upcoming PLE, and this has the potential to be a pretty special one. Most money will be on this being Vaquer’s crowing moment, but I don’t think it happens here. Sky for the win, giving Vaquer more time and opportunities to build her main roster stock before winning a title.
