Ludwig Kaiser has risked the wrath of Tiffany Stratton by naming another member of the WWE women’s division as his favorite in-ring competitor.
Ludwig Kaiser Names Favorite WWE Women’s Wrestler
Ludwig Kaiser and Tiffany Stratton have been dating since May 2022 after the Imperium star lost a game of rock, paper, scissors and had to ask her on a date. He has made several appearances on her social media, including TikTok, where he has shown off his comedic side.
The 35-year-old is currently showcasing his versatility, working as his alter ego, El Grande Americano, on WWE RAW and in the sister promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. He has earned plaudits for his character work, keeping fans entertained in any role asked of him.
Stratton has been equally entertaining since arriving on the main roster in February 2024, quickly rising to prominence and becoming the Women’s Champion. Her popularity skyrocketed last year when Australian fans made clear they wanted her pushed at the 2024 Elimination Chamber PLE.
The 26-year-old has continued to receive support from fans after turning babyface, but her partner, Kaiser, seemingly holds a member of the RAW roster in higher regard. He responded to a fan on Instagram who asked who his favorite women’s wrestler was: “Iyo Sky. All my respect (applause).”
Kaiser’s verdict speaks volumes about how highly rated Iyo Sky is in the WWE locker room as she continues to wow fans every week on RAW. She’s a former two-time women’s world champion and successfully defended her title in a triple-threat match against Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 41.
Stratton has yet to face Sky, and that might just be a dream match for Kaiser to see his other half go up against his favorite women’s wrestler. He might have to wait a while, though, as the pair are on different brands and there’s no sign of a draft taking place anytime soon.
“She Doesn’t Need My Support” – Ludwig Kaiser Hailed Tiffany Stratton
Kaiser’s decision not to name Stratton as his favorite women’s competitor could stem from his intention to let her find success on her own. He spoke of not needing to support her when she was the talk of developmental brand NXT in September 2023 (via Sportskeeda’s WrestleBinge podcast):
“I think that Tiffany doesn’t really need to jump on that opportunity or that storyline that I’m doing right now because she is so amazing by herself. She is going to go her own way, so she [does] not by any means need any kind of support or push from my side. She is a one-of-a-kind athlete and a one-of-a-kind person, and she’s been doing so amazing.”
Stratton has become a huge success on her own, enjoying a meteoric rise as a singles star and achieving this by working her way up from NXT to the main roster. She has built strong connections in the locker room with the likes of Nia Jax, with whom she shares a close friendship.
Kaiser didn’t need to push her, as he pointed ou,t but he might be keen to replicate her championship success. He has yet to win a singles title in WWE although his run as El Grande Americano has fans pining for him to end his long wait for title glory.
