In the matches played at the venue since 2000, the host holds the record for the lowest total defended. England was able to defend 182 runs against Ireland in 2019.
England also prevented South Africa from chasing down 183 runs in 1955.
However, Australia had defended 124 runs against England in 1888 which is the lowest score defended at this venue.
India had defended 272 runs the last time it played England at Lord’s, making it the lowest total defended by a visiting team at the venue since 2000.
