IND v ENG, fifth Test: Rishabh Pant ruled out; Jagadeesan comes in as replacement


Rishabh Pant, who sustained a fracture to his right foot during the fourth Test against England in Manchester, has been ruled out of the fifth and final Test of the series.

The BCCI, in a statement, said the medical team will continue to monitor his progress. The statement also confirmed the selection of N. Jagadeesan as Pant’s replacement for the final Test of the series, which begins on July 31, 2025 at Kennington Oval, London.

England leads the five-match series 2-1.
