Jey Uso (c) Vs. Gunther |
WWE World Heavyweight Championship |
One match has been announced for next week’s Raw.
- Because of his win at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Jey Uso will now defend his World Heavyweight Championship against the man he beat for it at WrestleMania 41; Gunther. WrestleMania marked Uso’s first win over The Ring General making for a 1-3 win/loss record in favor of the former champion. With Logan Paul and Seth Rollins’ crew still running about and causing problems for Jey Uso, this match is going to be hard to call.
What Else Will Happen On The Show?
- Becky Lynch is set to take on Lyra Valkyria at Money In The Bank for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. The fallout of that encounter seems like a shoo-in for this episode of Raw.
- JD McDonagh and Finn Balor defeated the War Raiders with the help of new recruit Roxanne Perez last week, but tension in the Judgment Day continues. Liv Morgan refused Perez’ help with Raquel Rodriguez’ match against Kairi Sane. Sane would win the match, so the tension will likely rise even more.
- Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman laid waste to CM Punk, Sami Zayn and Jey Uso last week. Their path of destruction sees no signs of slowing down and with Rollins participating in the Money In The Bank match on Saturday June 7th, it’s likely he can enter Raw with a huge ace up his sleeve.

But what about the show itself? Will it be any different? Does it matter what kind of subscription you have? Thankfully, no matter what kind of plan you use on Netflix, you’ll be able to watch Raw, just with more ads if you don’t have an ad-free plan. Triple H has confirmed that Raw will not be censored back in June 2024 (via The Pat McAfee Show):
Right now, just as an example of us being on Fox, if the crowd chants ‘Holy sh**,’ or something much worse, they just take that audio. Sometimes they take the picture and the audio off, and it’s just black screen… We won’t have those issues with Netflix. The ability to be live globally, the ability to have everything seen all at once everywhere, it’s a game-changing moment. While that doesn’t mean that the show is necessarily TV-14, you can kiss those annoying audio drops whenever someone curses or the crowd chants “Holy s**t!” goodbye. Since the move to Netflix, the show’s runtime has ran somewhere between two and three hours.
