LA Knight Targets Seth Rollins & The World Heavyweight Title

  • Seth Rollins and his faction opened RAW to celebrate his title win at SummerSlam.
  • LA Knight interrupted and declared his title intentions.
  • Rollins vs. Knight main evented Monday Night RAW.

Sometimes, the simple route is the best route, and LA Knight emerging to rekindle his rivalry with Seth Rollins and demand a World Heavyweight Championship due to being the last one to beat him in a match was the correct decision on Monday Night RAW. Knight still wanted revenge on Rollins’ faction, and regardless of Rollins’ ruse and plan, Knight has an official win on the record books, so it is logical for him to want a title match.

It was a shame that LA Knight missed out on competing at SummerSlam 2025, so to see him thrust into the main event scene is very rewarding. Adam Pearce made a title match official for the main event of Monday Night RAW, though the clash had an inconclusive finish. All this means is that Knight is still owed a fair title match and will remain one of the biggest stars on RAW.

Nikki Bella Challenges Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella WWE RAW

  • Lynch wanted new challengers for her Intercontinental Championship, and Nikki Bella stepped up.
  • The pair went to war on the mic, issuing brutal insults, including one about John Cena.
  • This promo was a strong way to start a new rivalry.

Becky Lynch’s reign as Intercontinental Championship has been strong thus far, fending off the likes of Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and finally ending her feud with Valkyria at SummerSlam. On RAW, Nikki Bella emerged to become the next in line for the Intercontinental Title – a fresh, new feud and one that can help to further the prestige of the new midcard belt.

Lynch and Bella battled on the microphone on RAW, trading some personal jibes to add instant heat to this brand new feud. Lynch brought up Bella’s split from John Cena and her being cut from Happy Gilmore 2.

Rusev & Sheamus Brawl Around The Arena

Sheamus and Rusev WWE RAW

  • Rusev vs. Sheamus ended in a countout.
  • They fought around the arena for the whole show.
  • This was a strong next chapter in their rivalry.

At first, another inconclusive finish to a match between Rusev and Sheamus was frustrating, but the way it was handled throughout the rest of the show was well done. Their match ended due to a brawl outside of the ring, sparking into a pull-apart brawl that lasted throughout the show.

They interrupted several backstage segments in what was a fun development to their feud, and something different to the norm, which is always nice to see. This is setting up some sort of stipulation match between the two that will be hard-hitting.

Roman Reigns & CM Punk Interrupt A Chaotic Main Event

  • Punk attacked Rollins to cause a DQ finish.
  • Knight and Punk will have issues coming out of Monday Night RAW.
  • Roman Reigns arrived to take out Rollins, but got ambushed by his faction.

Seth Rollins and LA Knight were battling in the main event of Monday Night RAW for the World Heavyweight Championship, though just as Rollins was about to give Knight a Curb Stomp on the floor, CM Punk appeared from nowhere to jump Rollins, kickstarting a wild brawl to end RAW in a fun way as he sought revenge for SummerSlam. Knight was annoyed at Punk for interfering, hinting at issues between the two, before Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed ran down to attack the two, laying out Rollins’ enemies.

Just as the show was about to end, Roman Reigns showed up to try and enact his own revenge on Rollins. Seeing these two face off was great, until their showdown was interrupted by Rollins’ lackeys, and the babyfaces were destroyed by his two henchmen. Rollins’ faction stood tall in a chaotic ending that told several interweaving stories.
