AJ Styles & The Kabuki Warriors Battle The Judgment Day

  • AJ Styles teamed with the Kabuki Warriors.
  • This was a unique match featured on RAW.
  • Styles will take on Dominik Mysterio at SummerSlam.

One of the most fun matches across Monday Night RAW this week came in the first contest of the night as AJ Styles teamed with Asuka and Kairi Sane of the Kabuki Warriors to take on Dominik Mysterio, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez of the Judgment Day. Given the unique mixed tag team element, this gave RAW something different this week, and it turned out to be very enjoyable.

Styles would pick up the win for his team, adding some momentum ahead of his Intercontinental Title challenge against Mysterio at SummerSlam.

Karrion Kross and Sami Zayn WWE RAW July 2025

  • This feud needed something different.
  • Karrion Kross was determined to expose Sami Zayn.
  • Zayn issued an intense retort to Kross.

WWE is often missing face-to-face promos in which two wrestlers are having a conversation with one another without catchphrases, big metaphors, and shouting, which is why this interaction between Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross backstage on Monday Night RAW was one of the moments we loved most on this week’s episode.

It wasn’t too long, but Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross made the most of their time as they traded intense, focused, and strong words ahead of their clash at SummerSlam. We found out more of Kross’ justification, and we saw more of Zayn’s heart. This did a good job of adding some much-needed interest to their bout, adding a lot of fire that their initial Night of Champions match didn’t have.

CM Punk Was Back To His Best On The Microphone

CM Punk and Gunther WWE RAW July 2025 (2)

  • Gunther won their promo battle last week.
  • CM Punk hit back with a fiery promo on WWE RAW.
  • This is the CM Punk fans have been waiting to see.

After Gunther embarrassed CM Punk on the microphone last week on Monday Night RAW, this week it was CM Punk’s turn to hit back with a very strong speech of his own. Punk talked about how wrestling is his addiction, how much he needs to be the World Heavyweight Champion, and how he feels like he has earned the right to call himself the “Best In The World”.

Will Ospreay’s Heartfelt Promo: Everything We Loved About AEW Dynamite

The July 23 AEW Dynamite saw World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page in action, along with an injury update from Will Ospreay.

Fans will remember one of Punk’s most intense AEW promos ahead of his All Out 2022 clash with Jon Moxley, and this took some of the best parts of that as influence, and it brought out some of the best promo work that Punk has issued out in WWE since his comeback, at least since his feud with Drew McIntyre. Gunther vs. CM Punk remains one of SummerSlam’s most unpredictable matches.

Bron Breakker Is The New Leader Of Paul Heyman’s Faction

  • Breakker’s push is continuing in WWE.
  • Paul Heyman selected him as the new leader in Seth Rollins’ absence.
  • This offers up a lot of potential for future storylines.

In a backstage segment, Paul Heyman informed Bronson Reed that Bron Breakker would be stepping up as the leader of their group in the absence of Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins. Breakker stepped up, looking like more of a main event star, something that will undoubtedly add tension to Rollins’ return as Breakker will feel like more than just a lackey.

In the main event segment of the show, Breakker and Reed were made to look dominant as they picked apart and destroyed Roman Reigns and Jey Uso. Breakker broke Reigns in half with a spear and big dive over the announce table, Reed hit a massive Tsunami on Reigns, and although many are expecting The Bloodline members to rise up and overcome the heels at SummerSlam, this added some serious doubt and made them not 100% heading into this weekend.
