Estevao and Rodrygo star in friendly win

Brazil found their best form as Carlo Ancelotti’s side romped to a win in Seoul, with Chelsea youngster Estevao and Rodrygo both scoring twice in a 5-0 win over South Korea.

With both sides already qualified for next year’s World Cup finals Ancelotti will have been delighted to see his side click into gear.

The five-time World Cup winners have not lifted the trophy since 2002 but will be expected to be among the favourites in 2026.

Estevao, 18, opened the scoring at the end of a sensational move that started deep in Brazil’s own half and ended with him finishing a fine pass from Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes.

Real Madrid winger Rodrygo cut inside to rattle in a second before the break, with Estevao then nicking the ball of a defender to make it 3-0.

High pressing from Brazil also saw them win the ball back for a fourth goal, Vinicius Jr laying in Rodrygo for a simple second.

South Korea captain Son Heung-min played just over an hour before being replaced but his side were well off it, managing just one shot on target.

Vini Jr then got in on the act himself, running clear from the halfway line to slot in.
