England crushed South Africa by 342 runs in Southampton on Sunday, sealing the biggest win in ODI history.
Put in to bat, England hammered 414 for five, with Jacob Bethell and Joe Root scoring centuries. The reply lasted just 72 runs, as Jofra Archer and Brydon Carse blew away the top order before Adil Rashid wrapped up the tail. Skipper Temba Bavuma did not bat due to injury.
The previous record was India’s 317-run win over Sri Lanka in 2023.
