Bayern Munich have announced the signing of forward Luis Díaz from Liverpool for a fee in the region of £65million.
The Colombia international spent three-and-a-half years at Anfield, helping the club to four major trophies, including last season’s Premier League title.
But with Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz arriving on Merseyside this summer, boss Arne Slot has decided Diaz was expendable.
Diaz said: “I am very happy, it means a lot to me to be part of FC Bayern – this is one of the biggest clubs in the world. I want to help my new team with my way of playing football and my personality. My goal is to win all the titles that are possible – we will work as a team every day for that.”
