Summary
- WWE has changed Jordynne Grace’s entrance music, and fans aren’t all that keen on her new theme.
- The reported reason for the change is that WWE was concerned about Grace having similar sirens to Bron Breakker in her theme.
- Grace has addressed fan backlash and urged those who don’t like her new music to give it a chance.
Jordynne Grace debuted with a new theme in NXT this week, and, as has often been the case with Def Rebel-composed tracks in WWE, which this appears to be, it hasn’t gone down well with fans. Grace is very active on social media and has made it known that she can see what everyone is saying, but we might also have an explanation as to why WWE felt compelled to give her new music.
Jordynne Grace Reacts To Fans Who Don’t Like Her New Entrance Theme
Grace shared the clip of her coming to the ring with the new theme for the first time, noting that she knows “what the streets are saying”. However, she is urging those same fans to “suspend that disbelief and vibe with it”. If anything, that has prompted fans who don’t like the theme to share their distaste with Grace directly via the replies to her post.

Clearly, Grace is not in agreement with those of us who don’t like her new sound. In a follow-up post, the former Knockouts Champion publicly hoped that the plea to vibe with her new theme doesn’t reach more people who don’t know her personality. Whether Grace really likes her new theme or not, it doesn’t sound like she had much say in the matter.
WWE Was Worried Grace’s Music Sounded Too Similar To Bron Breakker’s
A report from Fightful detailing why the change was made claims the sirens at the beginning, which are now missing, are to blame. WWE higher-ups were concerned that the sirens that kicked off Grace’s original entrance music sounded too similar to Bron Breakker’s. Bad news for those who hoped that, at the very least, Grace would get those sirens back to liven up her new theme, as apparently, those were the problem.
In addition to that, as always, WWE would prefer it owns the rights to all of its Superstars’ entrance music. There are always exceptions, like CM Punk and Triple H, but for the most part, if possible, it would prefer to create its own entrance themes. That way, it can avoid having to pay royalties, and if that wrestler leaves, they can’t take their music with them.
During the days of legendary WWE composer Jim Johnston, WWE giving someone a new theme would have been welcomed, if not celebrated. Now that Def Rebel is responsible for new music in WWE, not so much. Fans have been calling for WWE to replace Def Rebel for a long time, criticizing their generic themes. There were rumors WWE would be done with Def Rebel by the end of 2024. Not only did that not happen, but the group is now set to work with UFC too.
