Jack Grealish has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for August after his impressive start to life at Everton.
The England international, who joined the Toffees on a season-long loan from Manchester City, won the award voted for by fans and a panel of football experts.
The 30-year-old has registered four assists on the way to helping Everton win two of their opening three league matches and has already become a firm fan favourite at the club’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Grealish makes a splash on Merseyside
Grealish came off the bench in Everton’s opening game of the season, a 1-0 defeat at Leeds, as he built his fitness levels but has looked close to his best in the games against Brighton and Wolves.
He made two goals as Everton saw off the Seagulls 2-0 before repeating the feat in Everton’s 3-2 win at Wolves before the international break.
Grealish will face his boyhood club Aston Villa this weekend with Unai Emery taking his team to Merseyside.
