Amanda Anisimova may not have the Grand Slam title that she covets, but the American is carrying a Top 5 ranking for the first time in her career after reaching back-to-back major finals at Wimbledon and the US Open. She rises five spots to No.4 in Monday’s post US Open WTA rankings, while Naomi Osaka jumps 10 spots to No.14 to return to the Top 20 for the first time since January of 2022.
There are four American woman – No.3 Coco Gauff, Anisimova, No.6 Madison Keys and No.7 Jessica Pegula – in the Top 7.
Marketa Vondrousova jumped 24 spots to No.36, for the biggest jump inside the Top 50, after reaching the quarterfinals in New York, while Barbora Krejcikova, also a quarterfinalist at the Open, jumps from No.62 to No.40.
Spain’s Cristina Bucsa is the biggest riser inside the Top 100, she rose from No.85 to No.62, a jump of +33.
