Omos has not been seen on WWE programming since all the way back in April 2024 when he competed in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Despite being off TV, not competing on live events, and taking a trip to Pro Wrestling NOAH for a brief excursion, Omos has now officially signed a brand new WWE contract, tying him down in the company for the foreseeable future.

4 WWE “Facts” (That Aren’t Actually True)
We all know that wrestling likes to exaggerate things to make the show larger than life, but WWE does it better than anyone else.
This is certainly a decision not many expected, but it opens the door for WWE to use Omos in a more prominent capacity going forwards. Here are some potential ways and ideas for WWE to use Omos going forwards.
Omos Takes Up The “Diesel” Role
Several WWE Heels Could Use Some Muscle
- Omos can gain popularity as a “heavy” to another wrestler.
- He can help build heat for an up-and-coming heel.
- There are numerous wrestlers he could team up with in WWE.
For someone the size of Omos, the role of a bodyguard seems like the perfect fit. Across the roster right now, there are several individuals who could benefit from having a “heavy” to fill that Diesel role, adding much-needed heat to their characters.
For instance, Omos could be the muscle behind heels such as Carmelo Hayes, Dominik Mysterio, Ethan Page, Logan Paul, Grayson Waller, Chad Gable, and many others. There is potential to make him a very important act alongside a singles heel, and that could in turn lead to the typical Diesel trajectory of getting Omos over down the line and pushed as a babyface after breaking out against the heel.
Finally, A New Member For The New Day
The New Day Initially Teased Adding To Their Ranks
- To add more heat, The New Day could add a new member.
- Omos being a bodyguard for Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods would be a good dynamic.
- Omos’ personality could shine alongside these two great heels.
Omos could not only be the muscle for one wrestler – but he could be the muscle for two! Last year, it was teased that The New Day were set to add a third member in the form of Odyssey Jones. However, after Jones’ sudden release, this storyline possibility was never followed.

12 Worst WWE Wrestlers From The Triple H Era, Ranked
WWE fans have mostly been happy with Triple H’s regime. But not everyone has been successful. The following are the worst wrestlers of Triple H’s era.
Instead, WWE could use Omos in this role, with The New Day finally replacing Big E. This could be another element that makes fans absolutely detest the pairing of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, and Omos would fit right in. He has displayed some great personality at times in interviews and on social media, and pairing him with The New Day can really bring that out of him.
Send Omos Back To NOAH & Other Companies
Omos Could Be An International Draw To Represent WWE
- Omos’ run in Pro Wrestling NOAH was fantastic.
- He felt like a massive attraction and draw
- WWE can use him in this capacity across several promotions.
In January 2025, Omos took an excursion to Pro Wrestling NOAH, competing in Japan and representing WWE. He quickly became a fan favorite and felt like a genuine attraction. It may not have been on the same level, but it was similar to how Andre The Giant felt when he was touring around the world as an unbeatable giant.
There is no reason why WWE can’t just keep doing this for Omos, making him a genuine special attraction in the likes of NOAH, AAA, TNA and beyond. He can fly the WWE flag and represent the company, but perhaps win titles and make moves elsewhere, before then coming back to WWE as an even bigger star.
A Dominant Run In NXT
Omos Bypassed NXT And Headed To The Main Roster
- Omos may benefit from at least a short NXT run.
- This sort of trajectory has done wonders for others in the past.
- He can find a new gimmick and persona in NXT.
Something that has helped the careers of several in WWE over the years is a trip back to NXT for six months to a year in order to build character, give someone a fresh coat of paint, and refresh their runs in the company. Omos would provide a completely different flavor to NXT, and it would be an environment for him to trial and error different gimmicks or characters.
