AJ Styles Not Wanted in WWE By Triple H? Fans Try Working Out RAW Promo

AJ Styles has left fans puzzled with a mysterious promo on WWE RAW during a commercial break in which he claimed “somebody doesn’t want me here.” The Phenomenal One was gearing up for a singles match against El Grande Americano but took the time to cut somewhat of a pipebomb.

AJ Styles has endured a difficult past few months feuding with Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship. He has been unable to dethrone the Judgment Day member thanks largely to Dirty Dom’s alignment with El Grande Americano, who interfered in their latest title match.

The 48-year-old opened up on his struggles and, interestingly, namedropped his former Club stablemates Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. He said: “For the first time in my career I’ve got noone watching my back. Gallows and Anderson they’re not here, Michin, she’s on SmackDown, it’s like someone orchestrated a way for me not to win anymore, not to have help, I’ll let you make your own conclusions.”

Styles added: “By the way, we are here right now, and all over the world but unless everybody is in a commercial break, I’m telling you something you’re probably not supposed to hear but somebody doesn’t want me here.”

This stirred up plenty of intrigue among fans online, who even pondered whether the promo was a work or a shoot. He eventually was helped to victory in his match against Americano when Dragon Lee came to his aid after another El Grande Americano had tried to interfere in the match.

AJ Styles’ comments come amid uncertainty over his long-term future with WWE after it was claimed back in July that he had signed a one-year contract extension with the company. He told fans that he had competed in his final SummerSlam PLE back at the start of August.

Some fans reckon Styles will retire once his current deal expires in February 2026, although others are speculating that he’ll jump ship and join AEW. His son recently suggested he isn’t happy with Triple H‘s booking of his father after recent defeats to the likes of Dominik Mysterio, which means he’s been defeated in eight of his last 18 matches at all events.

One fan placed the blame on WWE’s chief content officer when responding to the former two-time WWE Champion’s promo:

“This has to be a dig at Triple H for not letting him become Intercontinental Champion”

Another shot down such claims:

“Whoever doesn’t want Styles there, it’s not hhh. Triple H can’t afford to lose anymore talent that has name recognition”

One thinks Styles’ promo might be leading to the return of one of his biggest WWE rivals:

“Jericho coming”

Another fan named two possible suspects:

“It couldn’t be Punk, right? I thought they made up. What about Paul Heyman? I’m not sure what stroke he has behind the scenes, but I remember AJ called him out a few years ago for being a liar”

One wrote:

“WWE didn’t post that AJ Styles shoot promo on their official account. SOMETHING BIG IS COOKING HERE”

AJ Styles has been with WWE since January 2016, when he debuted in the Royal Rumble match, and has become one of the biggest stars in the company. But as he enters the twilight years of his career, he is battling it out in the midcard rather than in the main event scene.
